PIECE-WORK

Production & Waging by Piece work system is essential in China to improve productivity and to assure quality control. The worksheet for every worker show work record in product line and enable us to control quantity and quality of the work. Only passed works can be paid, and inferior works can be fined and corrected man-to-man on the spot in lines.Workers who show inferior records for a certain period can be transferred to other job suit them or dismissed.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
(1) FINAL INSPECTION : following points are checked:
-Cracks,Chips on Crown and Pavilion facets
-Polishing on Crown, Pavilion facets and girdle
- Proportion, incorrect faceting on Crown & Pavilion
- Girdle thickness, Size measurements
- Balancing, Off-centered
Causes of rejection : Cut stones that can not cured by fixing.
- Intolerable under Size (below 3mm : - 0.03mm, Above 4mm : -0.05mm)
- Unstraight and thin girdle
- Shallow in the depth
- Cracks-in, Chips
- Inferior rough and color

INTERMEDIATE INSPECTION

Strict job-site intermediate inspection is very important for quality control. Only the passed in intermediate inspection can be passed to next processing and some defected works should be corrected or repaired immediately before conveying to the next procedure. Frequent defect workers can be retrained technically or repositioned to other works.
